Kathleen R. Hardee, 86, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024 at Grand Strand Medical Center. She was born March 14, 1938 in Horry County, a daughter of the late Thorbon and Maggie Hardwick Richardson.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James "Jimmy" Phillip Hardee and siblings, Bobby Paul Richardson, Willie Lee Richardson and Nettie Maude Floyd.

Kathleen was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and shopping.

Mrs. Hardee is survived by her children, Keith B. Hardee (Jenny) and Bruce J. Hardee; step granddaughter, Sidney Windham; special niece, Kathy Thompson (Stephen); special nephew, Robert Richardson (Michelle); brother-in-law's, Carlisle Lewis and Fred Hardee (Sandra); two special friends and care takers, Phyllis Gardner and Net Poston, along with many other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be held 2pm Monday, December 2, 2024 at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Josh Keith officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
