Katherine Amanda Hudson, 61, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2023 at Conway Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 18, 1962 in Del Rio, TX, a daughter of George Wright and the late Terri Moore Clelland.

In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her sister, Kim Newton.

Kathy embraced the little things in life and always found a way to be helpful. She graduated from Socastee High School.

Mrs. Hudson is survived by her husband, William Hudson; children, Edward "Ted" Leonard, Meghan Leonard and Montana Matilla McRae (Brian); brother, Ted Wright; grandchildren, Boston Nystrand, Holden Nystrand, Paxton Whatley and Chloe Leonard; stepfather, Edward Clelland and many other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be held 10am Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Dr. Denly Caughman officiating.

Burial will follow at Olympia Cemetery, 1127 Olympia Ave., Columbia, SC 29201.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
