Juanita Ashe, 82, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025 at The Palms in Florence, SC. She was born April 14, 1943 in Bucksport, SC, a daughter of the late Jessie James Howell and Lessie Elnora Player Howell.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William R Ashe and one brother, Jimmy Howell.

Juanita loved fishing, shopping and her Lord and Savior. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. Ashe is survived by her son, Alvin Miles; daughters, Pamela Brown (Kenny) and Darlene Batties (Mark); sister, Jennie Marlowe (Bo); three grandchildren, Kent Brown, Mark Batties V and Ryan Batties; four great grandchildren, Mark Batties VI, Klay Batties, Coretta Brown and Colton Brown, along with many other family and friends who will miss her.

A Graveside Services will be at 10am, Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Pauley Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Cribb officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
