Joseph Wayne Holden, 54, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice House with his loving family by his side. He was born December 10, 1970 in Horry County a son of James Holden and Carolyn Jones Herring.

Wayne loved fishing, spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents Mr. Holden is survived by his wife, Shantley Singelton Holden; son, Jacob Holden (Addie); daughter, Alexis Holden (Junior); brother, Jamie Holden, sisters, Jennifer Holden and Jessica Holden; a special friend, Jasmine Jordan; five grandchildren along with many family and friends who will miss him.

A Memorial Service will be held 2pm, Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Watson Funeral Service Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
