Joseph Christopher Harrelson, 53, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Pineville Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. Born October 27, 1971 in Conway, South Carolina, he was the son of Brenda Bartlett Harrelson and the late Billy Joe Harrelson.

He was also predeceased by his half-sister Renée Harrelson.

Joseph was a loving father, son, brother and friend. He enjoyed running heavy equipment, but his true passion was running a tower crane. A jokester at heart, he enjoyed making people laugh. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved spending time with family and his friends.

Mr. Harrelson is survived by his mother, Brenda Bartlett Harrelson, his children, Storm Hodges, Mary Elizabeth Harrelson and her mother, Kitty Martin; his fiance; Elizabeth Shoemaker, along with her children, Keegan, Joshua, Rachel and his special little friend Lilly Shoemaker; siblings, Jason Harrelson (Melissa) and Amanda Hewitt (Jamie); two nephews and three nieces, along with many other family and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.

A Memorial Service will be held 11am, Thursday, July 17th, 2025 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel.
