Joseph Lloyd Dunn, 90, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 3, 1933 in Horry County, a son of the late Marion T. and Ethel Edwards Dunn.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Eunice Jordan Dunn; siblings, Troy Dunn and Brittie Dunn Chestnut.

Lloyd enjoyed fishing, hunting and going to Bojangles every morning. After serving in the US Army during the Korean War, he then became co-owner and operator of Dunn's Plumbing.

Mr. Loyd is survived by his children, Lloyd Randall Dunn (Sandra), Barry Thomas Dunn (Brenda) and Kenneth Wayne Dunn (Tammy); siblings, Levon Dunn (Pam) and Marilyn Alford (Johnny); six grandchildren, Joseph Dunn, Jennifer Strickland (Monte), Kristie Singleton (Corey), Jessica Richardson (Brandon), Scottie Dunn and Bridget Barnett (Scott); four great grandchildren, Braeden, Ella Kate, Allie, John Thomas and Adler; caretaker, Bonnie Skipper; and many other family and friends who will miss him.

The family would also like to thank Main Street Physicians nurse, Helen Cox, Magrho Guardian Angels and VA nurse, Jennifer Parker for all the love and care they provided.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00pm Tuesday November 14, 2023 at Oakey Swamp Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Singleton and Pastor Brandon Richardson officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 1:45pm at the church prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to the Oakey Swamp Baptist Church or Gideons International.
