Joseph Durham Britt, 78, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025 at his residence with his loving family by his side. Born March 21, 1947 in Lumberton, NC, a son of the late Durham and Pearl Britt.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Kisty Britt; grandson, Joshua Willard; siblings, Wildon Britt, Lois Thorpe, Elsie Martin, Evelyn Martin, Etta Mae Evans and Martha Miller.

Joseph enjoyed working on cars, fishing, gardening and playing with his grandchildren.

Mr. Britt is survived by his children, Joseph Daniel Britt, Jodie Atkinson and Rosie Britt; grandchildren, Casey, Emily, Hope, Scott, Damion, Abrianna, Joseph, Adalee and Rodney, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.
