John M. Jarvis Jr., 77, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024 at McLeod Seacoast. He was born August 4, 1947 in Richland County, a son of the late John M. Jarvis Sr. and Addie Mae Campbell Jarvis.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by several siblings.

John loved to hunt and fish, but most of all, spend time with his family.

Mr. Jarvis is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Barbara M. Jarvis; daughter, Tracy Matthews; sister, Patricia Jarvis; grandchildren, Anthony Matthews (Whittnee), Justin Matthews, Brianna Matthews,Corey Matthews and Joseph Tolbert; great grandchildren, Emma, Alyssa and Chase, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held 11am, Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Florence National Cemetery.
