Joan Katherine Guyton, 77, passed away Monday, April 8, 2024 at Reflections Assisted Living with her loving family by her side. She was born March 13, 1947 in Conway, a daughter of the late John Leo Holt Jr. and Mary Estalane James Holt.

She was predeceased by her husband, Delmar Ike Guyton, son, James Darren Hucks; sisters, Renabelle Herring and Willie Ann Holt.

Joan worked at AVX for over thirty years and enjoyed playing bingo.

Ms. Guyton is survived by her sisters, Ruby Squires, Annie Grainger (Bill) and Mary Evelyn Rabon; brother, Johnny Holt (Doris); special nephew, James Alvie Herring; nieces, Tracy Ann Fryar, Michelle Soles, Wendy Jordan and Brenda Hardwick; nephews, Shaun Brown, Stephen Brown, Will Grainger and Jonathan Holt, along with many other family and friends who will miss her.

A Graveside Service will be held 2pm, Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Hillcrest Cemetery with the Rev. James A. Herring officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service at Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church fellowship hall.
