Jimmy Lee Hucks, 85, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026 at GSRMC. Born June 17, 1940 in Horry County, he was the son of the late Hampton Lee and Mary Cooper Hucks.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife, Melba Brown Hucks and sister, Susie Turbeville.

Jimmy was owner/operator of Jimmy Hucks Construction Company. In his spare time you could find him on his tractor. He loved to farm as well as hunting and fishing.

Mr. Hucks is survived by his daughter, Jamie Hucks (John Thomas Tew Jr.); siblings, Jackie Hucks (Nyoka) and Betty Moore; grandchildren, Ella Sophia Tew and John "Tres" Thomas Tew III, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

Funeral Services will be held 11am. Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

A Private Burial will be held at a later date.
