James “Jimmy” White, 72, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026 at his residence.

He was born November 22, 1953 in Pitt County, N.C., a son of the late Stanley Kitchler White and Millie Elizabeth Rawls.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Harris.

Jimmy was a loving and devoted Husband, father, grandfather and friend. He had a deep appreciation for music of every genre and seemed to know the lyrics to every song, he also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his wife and friends. Jimmy retired form Palmetto Electric Cooperative after 32 years of dedicated services as a Line Crew Foreman.

He is survived by his wife of fifteen years, Cynthia Dianne Ratliff; daughters, Anita Harris and Kimberly Harris; grandson, Justin Harris, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
