James Thomas "Pa" Richardson, 85, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born July 9,1940 in Horry County, a son of the late Lee Richardson and Alice Rabon Richardson.
He was also predeceased by his brother, Larry Richardson.
Mr. Richardson was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors, always socializing with family and friends and never met a stranger. Thomas was a Past Master of Lodge #65 for two years, a member of Omar Shriners, past president of Waccamaw Shrine Club and member of the Omar Peddlers, he was always a very active member.
Mr. Richardson is survived by his wife of thirty- eight years, Bonnie Day Lilly Richardson; sons, Jimmy Richardson (Divina) and Jimmy Day (Sandra); daughters, Anne Richardson Jordan (CJ), Karen Cole (Terry) and Grace Edwards (Tommy); sisters, Hazel Gaillard and Jenny Goff (Herman); eight grandchildren, Shane Day (Courtni), Angela Davis (Reggie), Braxton Coats (Caroline), Chelsea Coats, Samantha Oatman, Joshua Oatman (Eduarda), William Richardson (Stephanie) and Brandon Richardson; six great grandchildren, Aden Day, Mollie Day, Mikenna Coats, Blakley Caulder, Tucker Caulder and Gabriel Coats along with many other family and friends who will miss him.
A Funeral Service will be held 2pm Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Tyler Cains officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Watson Funeral Services.
Burial will follow at Red Hill Methodist Cemetery.
Masonic Rites will be held at the graveside.
