James Rodney Sheppard, 63, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Conway Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 27, 1961 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late Charles and Patricia Bissell Sheppard.

He was also predeceased by his brother, Charles Sheppard.

James was a professional fork lift driver. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Sheppard is survived by his wife, Sandy Sheppard; children, James Sheppard (Stacy), Beth Thacher (Shawn) and Christina Murray; siblings, Robert Sheppard (Cathy Anne), Gregory Sheppard, Joseph Sheppard (Susan), Patricia Cowart and Sharon Sheppard; grandchildren, Shawn Thacher Jr., Corey Thacher, Kevin Thacher, Jaxen Murray, Lily Murray, Travis Thacher, Ethan Sheppard and Hunter Sheppard; several nieces and nephews, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.
