James Ed Hardee, 77, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born April 2, 1947 in Horry County, a son of the late Joseph Henry Hardee and Minnie Edge Hardee.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased in death by his sister, Elsie Brown.

James was a loving husband, father, brother, granddaddy and friend. He was a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and enjoyed gardening and bird watching. Mr Hardee was a faithful member of Berea Baptist Church, where he enjoyed going and serving his Lord and Savior.

Mr. Hardee is survived by his wife of thirty- five years, Bobbie Gerald Hardee; three sons, Levon Hardee (Missy), Jeffery Hardee and Rodney Hardee (Sandy); one daughter, Renee Enzor (Ronnie); one brother, Henry Hardee (Ruth); three sisters, Alma Swartzwelder, Irene Bellamy and Sarah Allan (Ralph); grandchildren, Corey Hardee (Aarika), Rick Craven, Jeffrey, Jennifer Causey Cook, Justin Kittrell and Savannah Kittrell; great grandchild, Chloe Cook; niece, Brenda Imsho, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

The family would like to give a special thank you to special friends, Cathy Greer, Jeffrey Greer, Helen and Ed Rice, Robbie Tyler and Patriot Hospice Healthcare.

A Memorial Service will be held 11am Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Berea Baptist Church, 4312 Joyner Swamp Rd. Galivants Ferry, SC 29544.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the church.
