James "Jimmy" Garrett Lovin, 43, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023 at his residence. He was born March 19, 1980 in Horry County, a son of James William Lovin and Jackie Ann Lovin.

Jimmy was a loving husband, son, father, brother and friend, who will always be loved and missed. He enjoyed a good bonfire, while spending time with family and friends. An avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing with his daughter, golfing, camping, skate boarding and surfing.

Mr. Lovin is survived by his wife, Nicole A. Beckett-Lovin; children, James Colin Lovin, Annamarie B. Lovin and Leah Troxell; step-daughter, Summer Troxel; sisters, Tina M. Lovin (Curtis Blake) and Krystal L. Lovin (TJ Krake); fiancé, Ashley Troxell, mother of Leah and Summer, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1pm on October 8, 2023 at the family's home, 5540 Green Bay Circle, Myrtle Beach, SC.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
