Obituary

Jaclyn Grace Jennings

January 2, 2015 - September 7, 2026

She arrived in this world on January 2, 2015, with a spirit that could not be contained, to a family who did not yet know how fully she would fill their lives, and how deeply her absence would one day hollow them. Jaclyn Grace Jennings, age 11, of Conway, South Carolina, passed away on September 7, 2026, leaving behind a world made quieter and a village whose love for her knows no end.

Jaclyn was, in every sense, a force. Smart and creative, with a sassiness that could light up a room and a heart that cared loudly for the people around her, she moved through her eleven years with a brightness that felt bigger than her. She loved losing herself in video games and books, pouring her imagination into art, and spending hours watching YouTube, dreaming of becoming a famous YouTuber herself. But perhaps the most remarkable thing about Jaclyn was what she wanted her life to stand for. She hoped someday to become a lawyer so she could help people. At eleven years old, she already decided that her gifts were meant to be given away.

And in the end, they were. Even in death, Jaclyn's generosity carried forward through the extraordinary gift of organ donation. A beautiful honor walk was held in her memory; a final, heartfelt tribute to a girl who gave more than she ever had the chance to know fully.

Jaclyn was born in Middletown, New York, and is survived by her mother, Jennifer Williams, and stepfather, Christopher Magie; her father, Eric Jennings, and stepmother, Erin Hannigan; her grandparents Roger and Denise Williams, Lois Magie, and Roland Jennings; her siblings Gianna and Molly Mullins, Summer, Logan, Eric, Katelyn, Lucas, Michal, Ellayna, and Easton; and step-siblings James, Christopher, Joseph, Nicholas, and Julianna, and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Stephen Magie and Grace Jennings.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 17, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Watson Funeral Home, followed by a service at 6:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Jaclyn’s name.

How lucky we are to have had something, someone, that makes saying goodbye this hard.
