Jackie Richardson Strickland, 76, went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, August 23, 2024 at Pruitt Health Care. She was born November 16, 1947 in Horry County, a daughter of the late Major Richardson and Molly Watts Richardson.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Bobby Wayne Strickland; her daughter, Brenda Lee Perritte and several siblings.

Jackie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a member of Loris First Assembly of God Church where she enjoyed serving her Lord and Savior and witnessing to others. She enjoyed fishing, working in her flowers, but most of all was spending time with her family.

Mrs. Strickland is survived by her children, Tammy Jackson (Dwayne), Jacquline Hilburn (Darryl), Jodi Lawson (Jimmy) and Christy Perritte (Shane); siblings, Wendall Richardson, Ethel Fowler, Elise Causey (Donald) and Cynthia Richardson; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and other family and friends who will miss her.

A Graveside Service will be held 2pm Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Westside Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Shelley officiating.

The family will receive friends at 1:00pm prior to the service at the cemetery.
