Ila Mae Cannon, 82, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026 Conway Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Born November 10, 1943 in Horry County, a daughter of late James Enoch Gasque and Mary Eliza Lee Gasque.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by sisters, Elsie Mae Lewis (Willie Joe), Elwood Ivey (Bill); brother, Donald Leverne Gasque.

Ila Mae was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed making and decorating cakes, getting up and going to church and spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Cannon is survived by her son, Chad Cannon; brothers, Carlon Gasque and JC Gasque; sister, Allene Hardee; grandchildren, Makayla Cannon, Jaden Cannon (Hailey) and Brody Cannon; great grandchildren, Braelyn Lee and Rhaelynn Mae; special daughter-in-law, Natalie Davis; one special sister-in-law, Debra Gasque, along with many other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00am on Monday, March 16, 2026 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Brandon Blair and Rev. Matthew Tyler officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 10:45am at Watson Funeral Services, prior to the service.
