Helen Orene Duncan, 85, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024 at her residence. She was born August 4, 1939 in Conway, a daughter of the late Wade Hatcher and Edna Ammons Hatcher.

She was predeceased by her husband, Levon Duncan; daughter, Angela Christine Duncan; sisters, Hazel Hatcher and Diane Hatcher; brother, Charles Hatcher and grandson, Patrick Ammons.

Helen loved cooking, shopping on QVC, puzzle books and loved her grandchildren the most.

Mrs. Duncan is survived by her sons, Scott Duncan and Hugh Duncan; daughters, Karen Scott and Teresa Duncan; brothers, Donnie Hatcher, Ronnie Hatcher and Dan Hatcher (Patricia); sister, Linda Atkinson; five grandchildren, Nicole Tamburrino, Amber Duncan, Kyle Ammons, Maddy Socia and Jermey Duncan; six great grandchildren, Zoei, Charlotte, Asher, Chase, Milo and Delaney, along with many other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be 2pm Friday, November 1, 2024 at Waccamaw Church with Rev. Dennis Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Galivants Ferry.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
