Hazel Lawson Edwards, 84, joined her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 20, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 16, 1941 in Mullins, SC, a daughter of the late Harlie Lee and Blondell Richardson Lawson.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, McArthur Edwards; siblings, Grippie Lee Lawson, Ladosta Rabon, Paul E. Lawson, Wanda Cox, Gene Lawson and Mildred Fowler.

Hazel was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed working in garden, flower garden, traveling and spending time with family. Most of all, Hazel loved cooking (making the best biscuits) and dining with her family, but now she is dining at the Lord's Table.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by her son, Tommy Edwards (Denise); siblings, Bobby Lawson, Elizabeth "Lib" Johnson, Susie Harrelson (Edward) and Carolyn Lawson; grandchildren, Dale Edwards and Brandy Singleton (Matthew); great grandchildren, Cord, Marley and Hank Singleton, along with many other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be held 11:30am, Monday, March 23, 2026 at Evergreen FWB Church with Rev. David Stevens officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
