Gloria Gayle Moore, 74, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born October 20, 1951 in Loris, a daughter of the Late Belton McMillan and Katie Mae Grainger Stevens.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Ted Moore Sr.; daughter, Crystal Gayle Moore; and her sister, Phyllis Carroll.

Gloria loved singing karaoke and going to Disney World. She also enjoyed baking and making crafts. Her and her late husband Terry, were the owners of Terry’s Fish House for twenty years. Ms. Gloria loved her family dearly, but nothing brought her more joy than to spend time with her grand and great-grandchildren.

Ms. Moore is survived by her son, John T. Moore Jr. (Tiffy); daughter, Wendy Gayle West (Patrick); brother, Andrew Johnson; sister, Mary “Libby” Collins (Mark); grandchildren, Kasey Johnson (Andrew), JT Moore, Crystal West, and Abigayle West; great-grandchildren, Kaitlynn, John, Addelyn, Brayden and many other family and friends who will miss her.

A Graveside service will be held at 1 PM Friday, July 3, 2026 at State Branch Cemetery.
