Glenda Faye Linker, aged 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 4, 1949, in Horry County, she was the cherished daughter of the late Pearly and Ella Ernestine Smith Jordan. Faye was predeceased by her brother, Pearly Jordan Jr., her sister, Sara Jean Peavy, and her beloved grandchildren, Erica Nordman and Kevin Nordman.

Faye was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, known for her heart of gold. She found immense joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and was an avid outdoors person who loved working in her yard.

She is survived by her children, Eric Von Nordman and his wife Jennifer, and Heather Lee Linker and her husband Jeff. Her siblings, Jerry Jordan and his wife Linda, Jo Ann Grimm, Connie Shelley and her husband Bennett, and Gail Haselden, also survive her. Faye's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Lacie Lindgran and her husband Casey, Zack Causey and his wife Makayla, Destinee Causey and her husband Zack, Cody Causey and his wife Rissa, Jessica Nordman, and Samantha Nordman and her husband Tevin.

A Memorial Service to honor Faye's life will be held at 3pm on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Watson Funeral Services Chapel, with David Hardee officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home. Watson Funeral Services and Crematory, located at 2300 Hwy 378, Conway, SC, is serving the family.
