George "Junior" Poston, 76, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 2, 1948, in Horry County, a son of the late, George Washington Poston and Mary Etta Collins Poston.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Clyde Poston and Hoyt Poston; his sisters, Sally Mae Elvis and Elizabeth Larrimore.

Junior was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed riding four wheelers, fishing, painting and watching NASCAR racing.

Junior had the greatest love for life, where he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Poston is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hardwick Poston, of thirteen years; children, Brandon Poston (Amanda), Buddy Hardwick (Lisa), Wendy Martin (Andy), Candida (Vance), Stacey Holt (Barry); his brother, Buddy Poston (Frances); his sisters, Cathy Elvis (Monty) and Odessa Poston; eight grandchildren, Charlie, Alandrea, Erin, Mylie, Blane, Jacey, Walker and Annabelle; Lifelong friends, Randy Beverly and Stevie Baker; fur partner in crime, his puppy, Buster; many loving nieces and nephews and many other family and friends who will miss him.
