George Erroll Johnson, 79, went to be with his Lord on August 21, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 27, 1943 in Horry County, a son of the late Murray Calhoun Johnson and Nina Lundy Johnson.

"Sunday's Coming"

His Savior came Sunday morning August 21, 2022 at 5:10 Am and took him home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Erroll enjoyed time with his family, fishing and driving his tractor on the farm. His special talent was wood work, building and helping people.

Erroll was predeceased by his loving wife, of fifty-five years, Rose Nell Jones Johnson and a grandson, Dustin A. Lawrimore; nine brothers, JB, Lawton, James, Luke, Dick, Sam, Wallace, Gerald and Doug Johnson; three sisters, Madelene and May Murray and baby girl Johnson.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his daughter, Annette Johnson  Lawrimore and her husband Carl Lawrimore, whom he considered as his own son ; three granddaughters, Jessica Anell Lawrimore, Brittany  Lawrimore Cannon (Jon) and Malissa Lawrimore; four great grandchildren, Logan James Lawrimore, Aiden Johnson Lawrimore, Adalynn Rose Lawrimore and Camden Reed Tindall; a brother, Bayliss Johnson along with many extended family, friends, neighbors, nephews and nieces who will really miss him.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Antioch UMC Cemetery with Rev. Jamie Montgomery officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service at the graveside.
