Gene "Ben" Grey King, 28, passed away, unexpectedly, Saturday, September 13, 2025. He was born May 4, 1997, in Conway, SC, a son of Gene Fulton King and Sheri Marie Brown King.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Ira Gene and Judy King and Elizabeth Roberts; his maternal grandfather, William B. Brown and his aunt, Sherry Simmons.

Ben was a loving son, brother and friend to everyone. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. An avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish, but in his spare time he loved raising his chickens. Ben was very mechanical minded, who could take anything apart, fix it, and put it back together.

Mr. King is survived by his mother, Sheri Marie Brown King; his father, Gene Fulton King and his wife, Crystal; his siblings, Matthew James King and his spouse, Deborah; Taylor Dinkins and his spouse, Brooke; Austin King, Baby Gene King and his fiancé, Adrianna King and Tootsie King;  his aunts, Rachel A Gasque and her husband, Greg, Debbie Smith and her husband, Gary and Wanda Roberts; his uncles, Dustin King and his wife, Windy and Petey Simmons and his wife, Jeanie and Wade Boyd; nephew, Wade Dinkins; grandmother, Edith Jane Brown, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

A Celebration of his life will be held 4:00 pm Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at the Chapel of Watson Funeral Services with Pastor Chris Grainger officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm until 3:45 pm prior to the service.
