Ethel Vernell Johnson, 84, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 19, 1938 in Conway, SC, a daughter of the late John Lewis and Mackie Chestnut Lewis.

She was predeceased by her parents and one grandson, Bradley Nathan Tyler.

Vernell was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed decorating, shopping, listening to music and dancing. Vernell enjoyed spending time with her family and going out to eat with them.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her children, Lisa Anderson Graham, Pamela Sue Anderson and Jan Boyd (Kenneth); four grandchildren, Shannon Tennille McNeill (Robby), Brenton Kenley Tyler, Michelle Skipper (Jimmy) and Lee Boyd (Mindy) four great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be private.
