Ernest “Ron” Register, 70, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026 at McLeod Seacoast Hospital with his loving wife by his side. He was born May 06,1956 in Conway, S.C, a son of the late, Hoyt Register and Addie Lou Jordan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Danny Register and Larry Register.

Ron was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a successful entrepreneur, but remained a simple man. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and enjoyed fishing trips all across the globe. His greatest treasure was his family, who he loved beyond measure.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife, of 49 years, Clara L. Ramsey Register; sons, James Carl Biering and JD Register (Michelle); sisters, Cynthia Larrimore (Burnell) and Karon Hardee; grandchildren, Skylar Register (Sady), Sydni Register (DeAundre Alston) and Sophi Register; great grandchildren Milo Register, Mila Register, Ayla Alston along with many other family and friends who will miss him dearly.

A Funeral Service will be held, 2PM, Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with David Hardee officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Watson Funeral Services.

Burial will follow at Pee Dee FWB Church Cemetery.
