Eric Bryan Burkett, 52, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024 at his residence. He was born April 21, 1971 in Myrtle Beach, a son of Richard A. Burkett and Joyce Pendergrass Hastings.

Eric was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all. He enjoyed shopping for antiques and restoring old furniture, tools and guns. Most of all, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family. Eric retired from Lee Electric.

Mr. Burkett is survived by his wife, Kellie L. Burkett; children, Ericson Burkett, Canon Burkett and Erica Miller (Brandon); siblings, Lee Burkett (Heather), Jason Burkett (Jennifer), Kim Degood (Shawn) and Rida Burkett; grandchild, Skyler Miller and many other family and friends who will miss him.

A Memorial Service will be held 11am, Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Lee Burkett officiating.

The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
