Emory Daniel Cook Jr. 49, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Grand Strand Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He was born August 18, 1976 in Conway, a son of Betty A. Jordan Cook and the late Emory Daniel Cook, Sr.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother, James R. Cook and Becky D. Cook.

Emory was a GOD fearing Holiness man, a faithful member and assistant Pastor of Free Worship Freewill Baptist of the Pentecostal Faith Church.

In addition to his mother Mr. Cook is survived by sons, Ryver Cook (Betheny) and Alexander Cook; daughter, Hayley Atwater, brother, Danny Cook; four grandchildren, Hutson and Jordyn Cook, Caroline and Miley Atwater; niece, Dannie Lynn Cook; nephew, Wyatt Lane Cook; a lifelong companion and friend, Renee Scott along with many other friends who will miss him.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 11:00am at Free Worship FWB of the Pentecostal Faith with Rev. Gregg Cannon and Rev. Timothy Julian officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church.
