Elwood "Earl" Allen, 91, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 1, 1932 in Horry County, a son of the late Alvie J. and Martha Allen.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by seven siblings.

Earl was a member of Juniper Bay Baptist Church with perfect attendance for thirty-seven years and a member of Woodmen of The World Lodge #502 for sixty-two years. He was also a decorated US Army Veteran and a member of DAV Chapter 57. He retired from Crenshaw Vending after thirty-two years of service, worked at Aramark Inc. for sixteen years, serving the last ten at Coastal Carolina University.

Mr. Allen is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Emmaline Graham Allen; daughter, Ginger Earle Allen (Dr. Edward Weiner) and many other family and friends who will miss him.

Funeral Services will be held 11am, Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Juniper Bay Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Vandermark officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Juniper Bay Baptist Church. They provided so much love and support for his family over the years.
