Eleanor Edna Elvis Hailey, 93, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born August 14,1932 in Horry County, a daughter of the late Rev. Sam Bethea Elvis and Lucy Anne Racer Elvis.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband; Howard "Fluff" Hailey; her step mother, Hilda Elvis; brothers, Rev. Earl Elvis and Donald Elvis; sisters, Frances Ray and Ruth Holmes.

Eleanor worked at AVX for thirty-six years.

Ms. Hailey is survived by her nephew, Howard Bohrer; brother, Rev. Steve Elvis; sister, Diana Collins; nieces and nephews, Ann Skipper, Ronald Ray, Delbert Ray, Sandra Lovern, Betty Womack, Yvonne Jordan, Rocky Holmes, Kevin Elvis, Kendall Elvis, Kimberly Elvis, Kayla Thompson, Danny Ray and Joyce Skipper, along with other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, September 19, 2025 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until 10:45am prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Westside Memorial Gardens.
