Edward Kirby Jordan, 88, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Compass Post Rehabilitation. He was born July 08, 1935 in Conway, SC, a son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Isla Thompkins Jordan.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Jacqulyn Jordan; sisters, Elnita Wallace, Delia Owens and Elease Capps; his brothers, Norman Jordan, Lucius Jordan, Billy Jordan, Curtis Jordan, Ethel Jordan, and Bryan Ross Jordan.

Kirby was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was a lifelong member of Juniper Bay Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and also served on other committees. He served his country in the United States Army. He was always known as a kind man that did not have anything bad to say about anyone. He was loved and will be missed by all that knew him.

Mr. Jordan is survived by his children, Edward Lynn Jordan and his wife, Connie E. Jordan of Conway, Steven Lamar Jordan and his wife, Vicki F. Jordan of Conway and Connie Jordan of Aynor; sisters, Margaret Hucks and Hilda Thompson (Jimmy) Grandchildren, Hayli Jordan Burris (Blake), Hanna Jordan Owens (Anthony), Hunter Jordan, Abbi Jordan and Maddi Jordan; Great Grandchildren, Madison Causey, Reed Burris and Hudson Owens along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Juniper Bay Baptist Church Cemetery.
