Edith "Leola" Stalvey, 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Anderson Oaks, with her loving family by her side. She was born October 6, 1944 in Horry County, a daughter of the late Rev. Charlie Tyler and Doshia Barnhill Tyler.

She was predeceased by her parents; brother- in- laws, Ray McMillan and Ben Harley and sister- in- law, Lisa Tyler.

Leola was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved her Lord and Savior and singing for the Lord. She enjoyed studying history and visiting plantations in Charleston, along with taking family vacations to the mountains. Leola was a retired Bookkeeper for Horry County School District.

Mrs. Stalvey is survived by her loving husband of fifty- eight years, Bobby R. Stalvey Sr.; one son, Bobby R. Stalvey Jr. and his wife Brenda who was more like a daughter to her; one daughter, Susan Michelle Stalvey Springer; three brothers, George Tyler (Peggy), Ronnie Tyler and Graylin Tyler (Glenda); two sisters, Dorothy McMillian and Marilyn Harley; four grandchildren, Archie J. Springer, Savannah Springer Kankula (Scott), Tyler Springer and Shelly Walker; four great grandchildren, Jakara Gee, Marquez Richardson, Braxton Kankula and Crystal Kankula; nieces, nephews and many other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Friday, September 8, 2023 at Juniper Bay Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Vandermark and Rev. Jimmy Floyd officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 10:45 am prior to the service at the church.
