Staff Sgt. Douglas Scott Fryer, 54, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 2, 2025. Born March 13, 1971 in Aurora, Colorado, he was the son of Donald and Margaret Raustad Fryer.

Doug enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He served his Country faithfully for 23 years in the US Marine Corp and US national Guard.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fryer is survived by his wife, Patricia L. Fryer; son Alan Fryer: stepson Joshua Thompkins; brother, Bruce Fryer; grandchildren, Bryson Alan Fryer, Michael Lee Seward, Nevaeh Edwards and Caylee Edwards along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

Funeral Services will be held 2pm Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Chris Grainger officiating.

Burial will follow at Westside Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive family and friends on Monday, May 5, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm at the funeral home.
