Doris Turner Woodberry, 71, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. She was born February 17, 1953 in Horry County, a daughter of the late Johnny Lacy and Estelle Lawson Turner.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Peggy Lou Smith and Karen T. Skipper; brothers, Joseph Allard Turner and Jimmy Turner.

Doris was a devoted wife, sister, aunt and friend. She loved serving her Lord and Savior at First FWB Church where she sang in the church choir. She loved working in her flowers and spending time with her family

Mrs. Woodberry is survived by her husband of 46 years, George W. Woodberry; brother, Billy Wayne Turner; sisters, Beulah Dorman, Gloria Rabon, and Linda Simmons; a brother-in-law, Joey W. Skipper Jr.; nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends who will miss her.

A visitation will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 6pm till 7pm at First FWB Church 2624 W. Palmetto St. Florence, SC 29501.

Funeral services will be held at 7pm Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the church with Rev. Lee Patrick officiating.

A graveside service will be held 2:30pm on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Old Neck Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First FWB Church building fund.
