Donnie L. Charles, 71, of Andrews SC passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 following a short illness.

He was born February 1, 1951 in Newberry SC to Bobby Charles and Betty Jean (Rikard) Dove.

Donnie worked in the trucking industry as a truck driver for 46 years prior to his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Linda P. Charles, Andrews SC; brothers, John Charles, Conway, SC and Lonnie Charles, Conway, SC; his children, Dean (Joanie) Charles, Chester SC, Mary Bennet, Chester, SC, Donna Bland, Myrtle Beach, SC and Teresa Jordan, Rock Hill, SC; step-children Steve (Sandy) Perry, Jenny (Bobby) Turner and Eric Perry,  and many grandchildren.

Donnie was predeceased by his first wife, Lidia Harris Charles, Rock Hill, SC; step-sons, Matthew Perry and Kevin Perry both from Murrells Inlet SC.

At Donnie's request there will be no service. His ashes will be scattered by his family in a private ceremony at a later date.
