Donald Basil Anderson, 82, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 at his residence. He was born September 8, 1941 in Conway, a son of the late David "DD" McDonald and Gladys Isla Todd Anderson.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister, Jeanette James.

Donald was a member of Free Welcome FWB Church. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Donald is survived by his wife, Shirley Todd Anderson; children, Tammy A. Skipper (Kenny) and Karen Anderson Grainger (Marlon); brother, Harold Anderson (Carol); four grandchildren, Donnie Alec Grainger, Michelle Lynn Vasquez, Kayla S. Stephens and Hailey S. Harrelson; four great grandchildren, Nyla Stephens, Gavin Stephens, Emerson Vasquez and Samuel Vasquez, along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2pm Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Free Welcome FWB Church with Rev. Allen Goodman and Jerry Hearl officiating.

Burial will follow at Westside Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
