Domingo Valdez, 85, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022.  He was born in Vera Cruz, Mexico, a son of the late Francisco de Jesus Garcia and Savina Valdez Gutierrez.

He was predeascsed by his parents and a son, Miguel Angel Cruz.

Domingo was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He worked with Hucks Pool Company for many years. He enjoyed going to his church, Iglesia Adventista Hispanic de Conway, watching soccer, eating seafood and spending time with his family.

Mr. Valdez is survived by his son, Domingo de Jesus Cruz and his fiancé, Monica Hucks; daughter, Bertha Leticia de Jesus Cruz; Bertha Cruz Cruz, mother of his children; three brothers, Moises de Jesus Valdez, Cesilio de Jesus Valdez and Carlos de Jesus Valdez; two sisters, Francisca de Jesus Valdez and Maria Luz de Jesus Valdez; four grandchildren, Benjamin Cruz, Catherine Cruz Todd, Pilar De Pineda and Camilo Estrada; six great grandchildren; many other beloved family in Mexico; Debra Valdez, a special friend, along with many family and friends whom will miss him.

A visitation celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 5:30 pm at Watson Funeral Services.
