Diane Watson Tufts, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 at MUSC across the street from Roper Hospital where 3 of her children were born. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born July 10, 1949 in Conway, she was the daughter of the late William L. and Virginia Glasgow Watson.

She was also predeceased by her brother, Jimmy Watson.

Diane was passionate about family and friends and helping others upon a moment's notice. She also had a heart for service and for helping children which led her to Fostering Hope where she has been a regular volunteer for the past 14 years. She loved everyone she encountered and was always there for a friend or community member in need. She found immense pleasure in the joy of others and was always ready for any adventure that would bring a smile to her children. Diane also enjoyed her daily Bible time, reading, and walking Party (the family dog). Diane was a member of North Conway Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Jim Tufts; children, Walker Tufts, Frances Tufts, Lawton Tufts (Virginia Wawner) and Emma Tufts; grandson Hugo and sisters: Ginger Jackson and Betty Morgan.

Her memorial service will be held at Maple Baptist Church on Saturday, June 14th, at 2:30 p.m with a visitation starting at 1:30.
