Darlene M. Trask, 67, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 2, 1957, in Elmhurst, IL, the daughter of William "Bill" Harold Hamilton and Dorothea Marie McManus.

Darlene was predeceased by her parents, William H. Hamilton and Dorothea McManus Jones; her sister, Brenda Gruschalski; and her granddaughter, Adelynn Yates.

Darlene is survived by her dearest husband, Jerry Trask, beloved children and grandchildren:  Stephanie Cox (Leah and Ariel), Josh Teal (Elora, Gwendolyn, and Sundae), Rebekah Kilbourne, Danielle Teal (Destiny and Madison), Lindsay Teal-Parrott (Paris, Justus, and Kathryn), Roy Teal III (Kyden, Brendan, and Bethany).

She is also survived by her brother, Glen Hamilton, and her beloved dog, Wrangler.

Antiquing and tweaking (decorating) her home were some of her favorite things to do.  Her and Jerry enjoyed designing furniture into beautiful creations. She was also a fan of the Chicago Bears. Most of all, she loved video chatting with her kids and extended family, thanks to modern day technology, it made everyone feel closer despite the miles.

A future service is planned when the family is able to gather.
