Danny Ray Todd, 69, passed away Saturday March 15, 2025 at Grand Strand Medical Center. He was born August 2, 1955 in Horry County, a son of the late Houston Todd and Evelyn Martin Todd Hardee.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his stepson, Jamey Thompkins.

Danny was a loving husband, son,  stepfather, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend to all he met.  Danny enjoyed fishing and hunting, but he loved spending time with his family and friends.

His dog, Jingles, brought him great comfort and joy.

He is survived by his wife, Dessie Larrimore Todd; step son, Jason Thompkins; siblings, Willie Todd (Donna), Barbara Todd Hardee, Eric F. Hardee and Mandy Hardee Watts (Jeff); his step father, Everett "Frontis" Hardee; grandchildren, Hannah Thompkins and Rowan Stover Thompkins; nieces, Macie Watts and Lauren H. Todd; nephew, Hunter Watts and many other family and friends who will miss him.

A Celebration of his life will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Mt. Ariel Freewill Baptist Church.
