Danny Ray Spencer, 68, died Friday May 28, 2010 at his residence. He was born August 6, 1941 in Ashland Ky. a son of the late Ernest and Zona Whitt Spencer. He was also predeceased by a son Michael Shannon Spencer and a brother Ernest "Bob" Spencer Jr. Danny loved his family very much. He especially enjoyed spending time with his Grandchildren. He enjoyed going fishing and was never one to meet a stranger. He was one that you say he was a master of any trade he did. Danny worked as a Deputy Sheriff for 13 years in Florida.

Danny is survived by his wife, of 17 years, Marie Miles Spencer of the home, one daughter Yvonne Nicole Andrews of Florida, a step-daughter Kimberly Nicole King (Brandon) of Scranton, a step-son Douglas Eugene Poston of Scranton, a brother Jim Spencer of Florida, a Sister Patsy Downs of Florida, four grandchildren; Morgan Blaise Tomasko, Richard "Jake" Clay III, Bryanna King, Dalten Michael King and many other family and friends who will miss him.

A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday May 30, 2010 at St John Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Sedgwick and Rev. Floyd will be officiating.
