Cora Lee Johnson, 95, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born September 15, 1930 in Marion County, she was the daughter of the late Ervin and Mary Poston Larrimore.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of thirty-two years, Henry Austin Johnson; siblings, Mary "Lizzie Bell" Alford, Annie Mae Cooke, Lucille Cooper, Nita Shumpert, Grant Larrimore, Bill Larrimore, Lacy Larrimore and Leo Larrimore; grandchildren, Mitchell Barnhill and Candice Barnhill.

Cora Lee loved her chickens. She had a green thumb and could grow anything and enjoyed cooking for her family. Cora's love for people is why she enjoyed helping others. Cora Lee loved being mom and especially a grandmother.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her children, Henry Carlos Johnson and Diane Barnhill; brother, Earl Larrimore (Myrtis); grandchildren, Timothy Johnson, Carla Johnson, Terra Barnhill and Wayne Barnhill; sixteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; special friends, Carl and Vicky Simmons, along with many other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be held 11am Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Watson Funeral Service Chapel.

Burial will follow at Old Neck Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
