Christopher John Smith, 70, passed away peacefully, Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Conway Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He was born December 24, 1955 in Chelmsford, England, a son of the late Raymond Smith and Cynthia Clark Langdon.

He was also predeceased by his sister, Samantha Langdon.

Chris was a loving partner, father, grandfather and friend. Some of his favorite things to do were hunting and fishing. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching westerns, Law and Order, and English football (soccer). His favorite team was Chelsea, whom he named his daughter after. He loved spending time with his family and helping others.

Mr. Smith is survived by his companion, Deidre O’Connell; daughter, Chelsea Rossi (Travis); brothers, Shane Smith, Richard Smith, Dale Smith and Steven Smith; sister, Rachelle Langdon; step-father, Aaron “Shorty” Langdon and step-mother, Yvonne “Eve” Smith; two grandchildren, Cohen Rossi and Crew Rossi along with many other family and friends who will miss him.

A Celebration of Life will be held when the family is ready. Friends and family will be notified of the event.
