Carrie Lee Phipps, 74, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026 in Mount Pleasant, S.C. She was born January 08, 1952, in Conway, SC, a daughter of the late Julian Aubrey Jordan Sr. and Carrie Bell Jordan Jordan.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Larry Gene Phipps; her siblings, Howard Jordan, and Annie Sue McDowell.

Carrie Lee was a loving wife, sister and friend to everyone. She enjoyed doing, find the word puzzles and watching tv. Going to the Tasty Freeze with her sisters and getting a chocolate nut sundae brought her joy.

Carrie was of the Baptist Faith.

Carrie worked in the dietary department at Conway Medical Center for many years before retiring. She also worked at Nye’s Pharmacy in the Delli for several years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family

Ms. Phipps is survived by her brother, Aubrey Jordan Jr.; her sisters, Sally Jordan and Bonnie Stalvey; brother- in- law, Jerry Phipps; nieces and nephews, along with many other family and friends who will miss her dearly.

A Private Graveside Service will be held Monday, July 6, 2026 at Westside Memorial Garden Cemetery.
