Carolyn Elizabeth Strickland, 69, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024. She was born April 15, 1955 in Horry County, a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Mary "Pearl" Todd Davis.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Rodney Strickland and her brother, Larry Davis.

Carolyn was a very intelligent woman, who was also a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed cooking for her family and making her delicious homemade biscuits. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Carolyn loved all animals and would always make sure they were all taken care of.

Mrs. Strickland is survived by her children, Jason Strickland (Peggy), Mary Ann Treadaway (Josh) and Amy Strickland; siblings, Laurie Davis, Eddie Davis (Nancy), Terry Davis (Tiffany), Janice Pirkle, Jane Rowell, Connie Hardee (Arnold) and Judy Davis; grandchildren, Ethan Strickland, Jenna "Gracie" Allen, Russell Strickland, Blakeleigh Strickland and Charleigh Treadaway, along with many other family and friends who will miss her.

Funeral Services will be held 2pm, Monday November 18, 2024 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Mack Hutson officiating.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
