Calvin Woodrow Montgomery, 97, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Conway Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 17, 1927 in Horry County, a son of the late Calvin Fernie and Rosella Hardee Montgomery.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Helen B. Montgomery and his daughters, Teresa Montgomery and Patricia Montgomery Hardee.

Mr. Montgomery is survived by his children, Ronald Woodrow Montgomery, Mildred M. Simmons (Dale) and Rose M. Martin; special friend, Pamela Bessant; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss him.

The family will receive friends at Mr. Montgomery's residence, 724 Hwy 90, Conway, SC 29526.

The family will also receive friends from 1pm until 1:45pm prior to the service at the church.

Funeral Services will be held 2pm Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Waccamaw Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Danny Turner, Rev. Becky Jones and Rev. Dennis Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow at Bayboro Baptist Church Cemetery.
