Brenda Thompkins Hucks Stalvey, 79, passed away peacefully, Wednesday April 30, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born October 26, 1945 in Conway, she was the daughter of the late JD Thompkins and Olene Bellamy Thompkins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Ronald Stalvey Sr.; daughter, Donna L. Hucks; step-son, Ronald Stalvey Jr; brother, Danny Thompkins and sister, Shirley T. Thorpe.

Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Robbie. Brenda enjoyed watching hummingbirds and squirrels, going to the beach and the river while  riding on their pontoon boat.

Ms. Stalvey is survived by daughter, Karen H. McGowan; step children, Mark Stalvey (Anna) and Michele Estep; sister, Monica Thompkins- Delaney (John); one grandson, Robert McGowan; great grandson, Gunner McGowan; six step- grandchildren, Kristen Stalvey (MacKenzie Gallien), Cierra Vaught (Bradley), Ronald Stalvey III, Taylor Stalvey (Nathan Grainger), Logan Estep, and Braylee Estep; and many other family and friends who will miss her.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 am Saturday May 3, 2025 at Watson Funeral Services Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
