Boyd Franklin Pinyon, 83, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024 at his residence. He was born July 14, 1941 in Knoxville, TN, a son of the late Fred A. and Retta Mae Sands Pinyon.

He was also predeceased by his brother, Fred A. Pinyon.

Boyd was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a Engineman Petty Officer 3rd Class in the US Navy and was a Mason for fifty-five years. Golfing, riding his motorcycles, especially his Harley and working in sales where he was capable of selling anything were some of the things he enjoyed doing. Most of all he loved taking his service dog to the hospital and seeing the peace and comfort he brought to others. Boyd was also an avid Tennessee Volunteers fan.

Mr. Pinyon is survived by his wife of five years, Rebeccah E. Pinyon; children, Bradley S. Pinyon (Jayne) and Michelle L. Wood (Kevin); grandchild, Ryan Franklin Wood and many other family and friends who will miss him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Knoxville, TN at a later date.
