Betty Jane Matthews, 86, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Conway Manor. She was born July 26, 1935 in Durham, NC, a daughter of the late Callie Herbert Matthews and Lillian Kime Matthews.

Betty enjoyed the beach. Her passion was training and showing horses, along with riding them in the Christmas Parades.

Mrs. Matthews is survived by her sons, William Paul Pulley III (Peggy) and Bradley Larkin Pulley; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren, along with many other family and friends who will miss her.
